Well, my training is under way for the Great Cycle Challenge. I have about 30 miles in so far and I am slowly getting my stamina back to my 12-15 miles per ride. Got 10.2 miles in yesterday at a slower pace but it was great to get double digits in my ride(s) again since being in a winter slumber.
If you wish, you can donate to the Great Cycle Challenge through the above link. It will be going for a great cause.
I will try to keep a regular posting on my website and the Great Cycle Challenge blog with my ride updates during my training month and all through June.

Wowzer, took my first bike ride of the season and boy am I out of shape. I biked about 6.5 miles and I was beat. If I continue biking each day, I will be ready for the Great Cycle Challenge. I may not be ready for the next 100 mile ride, but at least I will be at my 12-15 miles a day on the weekends. I give it a week or two before I am back at that pace. My goal before the Great Cycle Challenge is to bike to and from the "M." I have a month and half or so to get back in shape, should not be a problem.
I also switched from MapMyRide to Strava. Strava is working better with posting to Facebook and to the Great Cycle Challenge page. MayMyRide has been having issues for a while now and I just dealt with them but for this season I am going to try Strava.

Once the weather is a bit nicer I will be training the Great Cycle Challenge. My goal is to ride 100 miles for the month of June. If I am close to reaching that goal, I will increase it by 25 miles each time I get close to the new goal until the end of June. If it interests you, you can keep an eye on my progress or even be a sponsor.
Here is to nice weather and enjoyment on the trails in June!!!
