Cheesy Hash Brown Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns
  • 1/2 lb. Italian Sausage
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 cup (8oz) All Whites Egg Product
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1  tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 cup (2oz) Shredded Sharp Cheddar
  • 1/2 cup (2oz) Shredded Asiago

Directions

  • Heat oven to 375 degrees
  • Butter bottom and sides of 9in glass pie plate
  • Firmly press potatoes on bottom and sides of plate
  • Bake for 10 minutes
  • Cook Italian sausage until brown, drain grease
  • Layer cooked sausage and pepper over pre-baked crust
  • Combine eggs, milk and mustard in large bowl, mix well. Pour egg over sausage and red pepper
  • Return to oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until center is is set
  • Sprinkle with cheese, back for 1-2 minutes or until cheese is brown
