Stuffed Peppers


  • 5-8 Green Bell Peppers (depending on size)
  • 1 cup raw rice (not minute rice)
  • 1-2 lbs. of ground beef or turkey
  • 1/2 cup chop onions
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


Cut off tops of peppers and remove seeds. Blanch peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes then place in ice water. Drain excess water.

Brown meat add onion. Add cooked rice and about 2/3 of sauce and salt and pepper.

Stuff peppers, do not pack.

Bake covered for 25 minutes at 350-375 degree oven. Uncover and pour balance of sauce and bake for 10 – 15 minutes.
